Results of 3rd LD Delegate Election Announced

The State Party has announced the results of the 3rd Legislative District election of delegates to the State Convention and the 5th Congressional District Caucus.

Delegates elected with a presidential preference of Bernie Sanders are:

  2. Jose Gamero Cassinnelli,
  3. Laura Bracken,
  4. Stephen Kirby,
  5. Betty Krafft,
  6. Andrew McGee,
  7. Joanne Fleming,
  8. Francis Neff,
  9. Jenny Siebrecht,
  10. Majid Sharifi,
  11. Ava Sharifi,
  12. William Kilpatrick,
  13. Marian Hennings, and
  14. Dan Wu.

Alternates elected with a presidential preference of Bernie Sanders are:

  1. Angela Landry,
  2. Sean Comfort,
  3. Kenneth Pelo,
  4. Dave Hammer,
  5. Frank Garcia, and
  6. John Alder.

Delegates elected with a presidential preference of Joseph Biden are:

  1. Rhonda Higgins,
  2. Breean Beggs,
  3. Mary Winkes,
  4. Alexander Knox,
  5. Christin Crowder,
  6. Dan Lambert,
  7. Ann Shea,
  8. Peter North,
  9. Emily Menshew, and
  10. Gene Brake.

Alternates elected with a presidential preference of Joseph Biden are:

  1. Donald Dover,
  2. Alan Chatham,
  3. Ryan Jerman,
  4. Sam Joseph, and
  5. Joshua Waddle.

Congratulations to all of the elected delegates and alternates and a big Thank You to all candidates who stepped up to run to represent the 3rd Legislative District and their presidential preference in the election.

Delegates will meet virtually at the 5th Congressional District Caucus (approximately May 30, 2020) to elect two Biden-pledged and two Sanders-pledged delegates to the Democratic National Convention from the 5th Congressional District.

Delegates will also meet virtually at the Washington State Democratic Convention on June 13, 2020 to adopt a platform and to transact other business properly brought before the convention.

Alternates serve in the listed order in the event that an elected delegate is unable to participate in one or both of the two meetings.
