Third LD Bylaws Amended

The Democratic Precinct Committee Officers (PCOs) of the 3rd Legislative District have amended the bylaws of the organization. The amended bylaws take effect immediately.

Notable changes to the bylaws include:

1. Two additional elected officers who will represent the organization at executive board meetings of Spokane County Democrats.
2. Permitting non-registered voters (such as DACA recipients) to be eligible to serve as elected officers of the organization.

The organization will use the updated bylaws at its reorganization meeting on December 5, 2020. At that meeting, elected Precinct Committee Officers will choose the organization's elected officers for a two-year term ending November 30, 2022. Officers to be elected include Chair, Vice-Chair, two State Committee Members, and two Spokane County Executive Board Representatives. Information about the reorganization meeting will be sent in a Call to elected PCOs and will also be posted on the organization's website and on its social media pages.
