Lace up those shoes, because the time is now to walk the talk and file to run as an elected Democratic Precinct Committee Officer (PCO).
There's been a lot of talk about things that are wrong with the Democratic Party. Caucus versus primary. The super-delegate system. Rules. And more.
Now's the time to walk the talk and start the process of change. Discussing whether it is needed, and if needed, how it should be implemented.
Elected PCOs choose the leadership of your local party organizations (legislative district and county) as well as the representatives to the Washington State Democratic Central Committee, which makes policy for the state party and chooses our representatives to the Democratic National Committee.
Changes to the Democratic Party will only occur from within. And the first step is to take action and run for elected PCO in your precinct.
File online here to declare your candidacy. Or stop by the Spokane County Elections Office at 1033 W. Gardner Ave, Spokane, WA 99260 (map) to file in person. There's no cost to file to run as a candidate for elected PCO.
Declare your candidacy and file to run as a candidate for elected Democratic PCO by Friday at 4:00 pm.
