Reorganization Meeting for the 3rd LD Democrats

Precinct Committee Officers (PCOs) elected at the August 2016 Primary will choose the leadership of The Third Legislative District Democrats at its Reorganization Meeting on Tuesday, December 6, 2016 at the West Central Community Center in the Newton Lounge (1603 N Belt St, Spokane WA 99205).

While everyone is welcome to attend the Reorganization Meeting (and anyone who resides in the 3rd Legislative District who considers themselves to be a Democrat may declare their candidacy for elected office), only Precinct Committee Officers elected at the August 2016 primary may vote (pursuant to state law).

The following elected positions will be filled at this meeting:

• Chair (presides over the quarterly Precinct Committee Officer meetings, presides over periodic meetings of The Third LD Democrats executive board, represents the LD at monthly meetings of the Spokane County Democrats executive board, represents the LD at quarterly meetings of the State Party's Chairs' organization).
• Vice-Chair (opposite gender of the Chair, presides at quarterly PCO meetings in the absence of the Chair, is a member of The Third LD Democrats executive board, represents the LD at monthly meetings of the Spokane County Democrats executive board, represents the LD at quarterly meetings of the State Party's Chairs' organization in the absence of the Chair).
• State Committeeman (is a member of The Third LD Democrats executive board, represents the LD at monthly meetings of the Spokane County Democrats executive board, represents the LD at quarterly meetings of the Washington State Democratic Central Committee).
• State Committeewoman (is a member of The Third LD Democrats executive board, represents the LD at monthly meetings of the Spokane County Democrats executive board, represents the LD at quarterly meetings of the Washington State Democratic Central Committee.)

Registration for the meeting will start at 5:30 pm. The meeting itself will start promptly at 6:00 pm and will conclude no later than 8:00 pm.
