The Call to Meeting has been issued to Precinct Committee Officers (PCOs) elected in the August 2016 primary election for the purpose of choosing the leadership of The Third Legislative District Democrats for the two-year period ending November 30, 2018.
The Reorganization Meeting of the 3rd Legislative District will be held in the Mason Auditorium (please note the room change) of the West Central Community Center on Tuesday, December 6, 2016. Sign-in starts at 5:30 pm and the meeting will start promptly at 6:00 pm.
Officers to be chosen to serve two-year terms include Chair, Vice Chair, State Committeewoman, and State Committeeman.
Accompanying the Call to Meeting were a Proposed Agenda, Proposed Rules, and a flyer explaining the Roles & Responsibilities of Officers.
While only PCOs elected in the August 2016 primary may vote at the Reorganization Meeting, any person considering themselves to be a Democrat and residing in the 3rd Legislative District may declare their candidacy for office. Candidates for office may obtain the contact information for elected PCOs by sending an email request to chair (at) thirdld.org.
