A special meeting of Third Legislative District Democrats will be called for Saturday, June 5, 2021 for the purpose of electing the organization's Vice Chair and to conduct such other business as may be contained in the Call letter issued to Precinct Committee Officers later this month.
Lacrecia "Lu" Hill resigned as Vice Chair after being elected to the vacant State Committee Member A position by the Precinct Committee Officers on Saturday, May 8, 2021.
Any Democrat in the 3rd Legislative District who has a gender identity of female or non-binary may run to serve the organization as Vice Chair. Interested individuals may obtain information about the position by reviewing the organization's bylaws. They are also urged to contact the Chair with any questions.
The Call to the special meeting with a proposed agenda and proposed rules for the election of the Vice Chair position will be posted online when they are available at www.thirdld.org.
